Kia ora tatou,
dykiegirl is the nom de plume of a New Zealand feminist, lesbian, academic, educator, student, writer, martial artist, theatre practitioner, arts reviewer, event manager, poet, activist, commentator, musician, parent and spouse.
dykiegirl describes her blog as a rather arcane and somewhat occasional collection of writings that hopefully will amuse and perhaps sometimes even challenge the reader. It may well include some fairly odd musings, opinion (I’m opinionated), essays (I’m verbose), poetry (I’m passionate), theatre, dance and arts reviews and masses of martial arts stuff on her alternate page (check it out) and will also constitute a legacy of sorts for my son Finn and for Cushla, his Mum, my lover, my spouse and my friend.
