Promoters and event managers spend months, sometimes years, working with promoters and agents before finalising a contract for an artist to perform at a summer festival in Aotearoa. Organising MIQ is a factor in that process.
Before you bag the MIQ system or the PM – seems it’s always her fault – it might be good to acknowledge that running a major music festival, while a pleasure – otherwise why would we do it – it’s also a business run, in the main, by skilled and savvy professionals.
